Research-Grade SARM Reference Material

Andarine (S4) Powder — 2 Grams

Andarine, also designated S-4 or GTx-007, is a non-steroidal selective androgen
receptor modulator (SARM) and one of the earliest compounds in the aryl-propionamide SARM class. This listing is a
research-grade reference compound supplied in powder form for in vitro and
laboratory investigation. Identity and purity are third-party verified and documented by a batch-dated,
downloadable Certificate of Analysis.

Research Context

Andarine emerged from academic research at the University of Tennessee in the early 2000s and was licensed for
development by GTx, Inc. Published pharmacodynamic work characterized its tissue-selective androgen receptor
activity in castrated rat models,[1] and later studies examined muscle strength, body composition, and
bone endpoints in orchidectomized rats[2] and bone mineral density and body fat in an ovariectomized
rat model.[3] A separate study compared its effects on prostate weight in intact rats with those of
finasteride and hydroxyflutamide.[4] Andarine was not advanced to approval, and its developer later
prioritized a successor compound, enobosarm (ostarine). Its safety profile in humans has not been established.

This material is supplied strictly as a reference compound to support such laboratory investigation. It is
not a therapeutic product, dietary supplement, or sports supplement, and no clinical or
performance outcomes are claimed or implied for any individual.
